BioI've had an ED since the age of thirteen and since that age my weight has fluctated quite a lot! It's my way of blocking out the past. I think that by becoming thinner it makes me a stronger person, because it takes a lot of will power to get to those goal weights, and because I focus so much on my eating, calorie counting, exercise etc, I forget about the past. It's become my coping mechanism more than anything.
